Tell me if this sounds familiar you are talking to a friend of yours who is explaining all the things they are currently struggling with in their life and you think to yourself “They should really go talk to someone” but you are unsure of how to get this friend of yours to think it would be a good idea to go to counseling.
I remember one time I was working a job as a supervisor and I was talking to one of the people I was in charge of about what they thought about my leadership. When they gave me their answer I was incredibly shocked to find out from them that they felt I was an overly critical boss who was too hard on my employees
Mindfulness as a whole is a very hard to pin down concept. Does Mindfulness mean that we do Yoga and Meditation and that is the only way we can be mindful? Does Mindfulness mean that I have to find a way to sit still and not think about anything at all? Or is Mindfulness more a state of mind where I focus on something intensely? Let's take some time to explore some of my favorite ways to be mindful and maybe we will be able to answer some more questions about Mindfulness as a whole.
We have all watched James Bond movies. Maybe you grew up with Sean Connery back when 007 was brought to the big screen. Or maybe, like me, you grew up watching Pierce Brosnan in GoldenEye or Tomorrow Never Dies (and maybe you even played the GoldenEye video game). Or Maybe Daniel Greig is your James Bond and you think every other actor doesn’t measure up to him. Whichever camp you fall into there are a few things about James Bond that are always true. He always has a license to kill, he always is a womanizer, he always carries a Walther PPK (It like a million other guns, most notable P99) and he always does things on his own.
